CSS announces host mode program
for Windows 95, Windows 98 and Windows NT 32
to support HAL DXP38 and P38

Muscle Shoals, Alabama. May 12, 1999: Creative Services Software announced today that they are adding support for the HAL DXP39 and P38 HF modems to their line of 32-bit host mode programs.  The program takes advantage of the advanced features of Windows 95Ô , Windows 95Ô and Windows NTÔ .   It is set for release in 3rd quarter of 1999.

Company President Rick Ruhl, N4GDO, said, "Windows 32 bit applications are the next step in Digital Radio for the ham. Our programs acts like ‘Microsoft WordÔ for the TNC’, with multiple connections running in multiple windows on the screen. Since we are using the advanced features of Windows, this product is compatible with the Microsoft OfficeÔ line."

Product features include:. Each stream has its own window and transmit buffer, support for the major callbooks on CD, user configurable colors and fonts, a ‘bottomless’ receive window, automated connections, binary file transfer, runs true 32 bit multitasking and multithreading and is easy to use with online help at your fingertips.

"The program is written in robust C++ ", Ruhl said. "Which allowed us to add features to the program that couldn’t be done in other languages."
