Description

PacTerm for Windows is a host mode terminal program for the Kantronics TNCs under Windows 98, Windows Me, Windows NT, Windows 2000, and Windows XP.  PacTerm for Windows takes advantage of the true multitasking capabilities of Windows and uses standard Windows commands for ease of use. From CW to HF packet, from single to dual port TNCs, it's now more fun to use the digital modes of amateur radio.  PacTerm for Windows is currently available for downloading.

• Interoperability with LogWindows and DX4Win
• PSK31 sound card support, using the TNC’s keying circuit or the TNC’s serial port for keying the radio with RTS or DTR, saving a serial port for other functions!
• AGW Packet Engine for sound card packet support
• CQ, ID and QRT macros
• Auto CQ functionality
• Point and click settings for TNC commands for startup
• Voice DX spot announcements
• Support for 2 simultaneous TNCs (one multimode and one packet )
