TNC Wizard Quick Start Guide

TNC Wizard Home

INSTALLATION

Before setting up your TNC Wizard, check to see if you have everything you need.

Your Kantronics, AEA, or Timewave TNC connected to your computer and turned on

The folder where you extracted your TNC Wizard software

To install the software, do the following assuming you extracted the TNC Wizard files to a folder named "Installs" on your C: drive.

Click on Start
Select Run
Type the following into the "Open" box.
C:\Installs\setup.exe
Follow the installation instructions.

AFTER INSTALLATION

After the installation has completed, click on the TNC Wizard Icon on your Desktop.

When you run the TNC Wizard software, you will get a screen asking you about your system configuration. Check the appropriate boxes and click the "Next" button. Note that if you put a check mark beside "Check TCPIP", you will also need to fill in the IP address and port. When the search is completed, you can select the program to which you that you wish to share this information.
